http://www.viamilano.co.inIt's finally the last post of my eating adventures in India. I've had vegetarian Italian, various Indian, and fast food. A commonality in all these restaurants is the lack of beef which is due to religious reasons. But here I introduce one of the few restaurants that serves beef!
The elevator up to the restaurant that overlooks a quiet street.
An intimate ambiance:
The inside is dimly lit. A very romantic environment and one you typically find in North America.
I came here at the beginning of the typhoon season so I avoided all seafood.
8oz Steak
This was a very lean beef. It tasted very irony. Vegetables were lightly seasoned.
Gelato:
Sorbets:
The sorbet tasted like just ice and not much flavor. It was a far cry to the sorber I had in Nice, France.
No, I'm not yet out of India but inside this restaurant, you can easily forget you're still in India. The owner is Italian so it explains why the restaurant is so authentic. The ambiance is nice and quiet. Food was decent but not amazing. The price of my steak was the same price as my beer - about $10. There isn't much in terms of parking space downstairs but it wasn't a concern since we had a driver. I got sick after this meal but that seems to always happen after dinner. I think my stomach is weak.
Writing this blog entry made me realize I had forgotten to blog a lot of the great restaurants I went to on my Nice, France and Monaco trip. So stay turned for some out of order reviews!

@falconfraudless - LOL yeah, it was depressing. I was always hoping for a good dinner that wouldn't burn my bum.
@thinkwinkpink - Thanks! I'm better since I came back. I think my body was worn tired during that business trip.
@rice_eric -
Haha. All your posted meal dates are depressing. You seem to be very independent or all on your own, but i think it's pretty cool to experience alone. I planned to travel alone one day.@falconfraudless - depressing, yes. I've been travelling for the last 5 years for work reasons so I'm often alone. How long of a trip are you going for?
6 months - 1 year. it depends how well I study the language. So far, i haven't took any foreign language in college yet. Haha. I'm expecting to learn well since U.S economy is facing many problems; I want to work outside of U.S.
@falconfraudless - that sounds pretty fun. which country are top on your list? Outside of Asia, the rest of the world looks just as bleek
@rice_eric - Japan. HAHAH. Maybe Korea. Not many schools offered Korean language. Definitely Britain and Australia if other countries aren't for me. I find it funny that I'm Chinese and don't know my Cantonese language well. I know nothing about my roots.
what! you went to nice and monaco? i should've asked you before we went!
@see_lai - I went at the end of April. Did you go there for your honeymoon? How was it?
@falconfraudless - i feel the same way sometimes about the culture thing. I'm too "Canadian" perhaps.
