Since one of my new readers is from Minneapolis, I decided I'd post this review of the only restaurant I've been to in Minneapolis!  Sadly, it was at the airport on a connection flight.

On one of my crazy flights I was delayed 4 hours from LGA because of huge snow storms in the middle of April.  That's right, April!  It was sunny and warm with bird chirping in New York so it seemed to unbelievable.  But when I got to MSP it was believable.  I had just missed my connecting flight that was also delayed but too bad not delayed enough.  Nicely North West Airlines (NWA) provided all of us a voucher for a meal (up to $10) and 1000 points as a pre-made apology package.  I guess they didn't have to since it was a weather related delay.  If I got one for everytime I was delayed on American Airlines (AA) I would never need to pay for a meal at the airport!  Of course accomodations were not covered so I paid to sleep in a bed that night.

Of course you could only use the $10 voucher on either inflight food for at the airport.  I didn't have any dinner the night before because all the airport shops were closed by the time I got to MSP and I was too lazy to venture out to find food so I was very hungry.

I wanted a simple breakfast so I went with Stage Deli instead of McDonald's since I had a nice $10 to spend:

    My breakfast:

Most of my breakfast came out hot and fresh.  I took a bite out of that toast.  It didn't come pre-bitten.  Everything except the toast was greasy but I was too hungry to care.  Hashbrowns were crunchy and fresh.  I only finished one.  Bacon was pre-cooked though and the toast was only just warm since they were probably pre-toasted too.

It was a good breakfast.  Not worth the $7.99 I spent on it but since it was on NWA's dime I didn't think much of it.  The eggs are a lot better than McDonald's but I prefer McDonald's sausages over the bacon.  Stage Deli isn't a recommend but I'd go here if I didn't have a better choice at MSP.
