After a couple more visits to Chipotle and not getting sick, I actually started liking it.  But I needed a little change of pace just to see if some other place does it better in my area.  So on my way home I saw a Mexican restaurant and decided to give it a try.  Usually the word southwest and grill in the restaurant name means good and hot.  But I were definitely in for a surprise.

A really casual interior with old fast food restaurant styled bench seats made of curved plastic.  The ordering counter isn't designed well for newbies as you only see a small menu here or hanging high on the wall behind.

Nachos (free with ny meal) with guacomole:

    Fat Sam Shredded Chicken Fajita:

Lots of onions, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and any other cheap material.  The chicken was very disappointing - it was all shredded pieces and not much of it at that.  Comes with soft tacos on the side.  Priced at over $9, it's a pricy meal that you have to roll yourself.

    Steak Taco:

Where's the meat?  At least at Taco Bell you can see the cheap ground beef sauce.  Here you don't see anything.  It's almost the same as my fajita but without the onions, pre-rolled, and $2 cheaper.

The prices are really high for what you get and the setting.  Tables were moved around and most were messy with left overs from the previous patron.  Chicken was low quality and the beef was tough and chewy.  None of the meat was hot while everything else was really cold.  This was a really bad experience and recommend to all to avoid.
