Hogtown Bar & Grille
Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ)
Terminal 1I was at Toronto International Airport waiting for a domestic flight in the late evening and hungry from a full evening of flying so I wanted to get something to eat. I had tried Zyng Asian Grill a few weeks ago and it tasted so bad I threw out half of my bowl so I wasn't going to try that again. I didn't want to wait at a full service restaurant and I was too lazy to walk to the other side of the terminal for food so I found a quick restaurant called Hogtown across from Zyng:
They offer both a self service and a full service restaurant area. I prefer self service at airports because they're a lot faster.
Southwestern Chicken Sandwich:
It was slightly over-fried and but the chicken was moist and tasty. I really liked the crunchy batter and the zingy thousand island sauce is a bit better than the usual mayo. At around $4.50 it's on the pricy side but I think most chicken sandwiches from fast food restaurants are around this cost.
If I'm looking for a quick burger then I would consider coming back to Hogtown for it as there aren't many other choices. Seating was easy to find and this was close to my gate. There's also a Starbucks nearby to get your coffee fix if that's your thing.
