  • Lemon Heaven

    Calgary Stampede
    Calgary, AB

The common thought is that if a place has a long line up or crowded it would usually be a good place.  I normally try out places like that.  So if it's a place I haven't heard about and there's no one inside, I usually stay away too.  If it's crowded then I'll drop in for a visit and taste.  Well, I was thirsty while at the Stampede and I always see such a long line at the lemonade stand so I decided to give it a try:

We just beat this crowd of people so we didn't have to wait long.

    A large freshly squeezed lemonade:

It was $5 but it was a really large glass of lemonade.  It was bitter.  It was made from real lemons.  It wasn't sweet.  I wasn't used to it.  I think I've had too much Minute Maid Lemonade that it's skewed what I thought was lemonade.  I must admit the line was a bit long compared to the quality of the drink but I guess everyone was thristy and they must like natural stuff.  So if you like natural then I give this place a big recommendation.  If you're like me and enjoy fake stuff like bubble tea with powder flavoring then I say it's worth a try.
