I'm always on the go and on my travels I've had the fortunate (or, in most cases, unfortunately) opportunity to eat at restaurants all over the United States.  The unfortunate part is that it's usually been at the airport where I spend hours each week waiting for a flight.  This might be a good time as I'm in the Seattle-Tacoma airport where they've recently renovated their eating area into a bright seating area featuring a huge window view of the airplanes taking off and landing at SEA.

The food court at SEA airport:

There are a number of restaurants at SEA like Wendy's, a Mexican restaurant, a full service seafood restaurant, and a take out seafood restaurant called Ivan's Fish Bar:

Grilled Salmon on rice with coleslaw:

My salmon came out steaming hot.  The fish was tender but just a tad dry.  I wonder if the grill marks are real but they look good nonetheless.  The wild rice was was soft, hot, and flavorful.  There was a good amount of sauce in it to keep the rice moist.  Coleslaw was creamy and cool.  The corn bread was borderline on moist and dry so I only finished half of it. The price is good too - all for $8.99.

The service was slow and they even managed to give my order to someone else.  The food quality is surprisingly good for a fast food restaurant in an airport.  They also feature a number of fried fish and oyster dishes but their most popular is the grilled salmon.  If you find yourself at SEA, I highly recommend eating at Ivan's Fish Bar.  If my previous experiences with fast food applies here, your experience can differ from mine so leave a comment if the quality deteriorates.
