Owned by McDonald's at some point in its history, Chipotle serves high profit margin burritos.  At least it doesn't taste like Taco Bell.  We didn't have an idea where we wanted to go for lunch so we ended up trying Chipotle.

A simple interior with stools instead of chairs:

A Chicken Fajita Burrito with Gucamole:

Just look at all that rice.  So where is the chicken?  Very pricy for a burrito at close to $7.

I didn't feel so good an hour after lunch and a couple of my coworkers also didn't feel so good.  Although nothing came out of our mouths or the other side of us, we didn't want to take our chances at Chipotle again.  For $7, it's an expensive lunch; you can definitely get something better elsewhere.

Is this the chain Chipotle or a privately-owned one?

Thanks for the warning. I do not think I will chance it.

Chipotle's okay, but the amount of rice they put in the burritos really bothers me.  When you bite into one of their burritos, all you taste is rice.  Blech.  My aunt always orders the tacos--they're cheaper and the proportion of the ingredients per taco is more reasonable.

How many calories are in one of those burritos again? (:

agreed on heidenkind's call on the taco -- much more reasonably priced.

i had a chance to try chipotle's before the mcdonald's acquisition -- it's a lot more upscale now compared to before, and a lot less rustic .. :( but still worlds better, quality-wise, than T-Bell

I like chipotle (better then Taco Bell...ew)...you can customize your buritto.  The chicken isn't tasty, but the spicy pulled beef or something is....I haven't had it in about a year.  So...if you don't want that much rice, ask them to put in less.  I tend to get them to put in a lot more veggies and salsa.  No matter what you do...you end up with a food coma at the end of the day.
