After having a bad burger from Burger Heaven, I still had that desire for a good juicy burger in my first week in New York.  I was in the 5th and 47th area and there wasn't a lot of restaurants opened on a Sunday evening so I dropped by a good, traditional looking bar called Connolly's:

The inside is dimly lit with bar seating on the left while dining room seating is on the right.  I opt'ed for the bar since I wasn't going to eat long and there's more to see at the bar:

    I ordered a lamb burger:

It was a really big and juicy burger.  The meat was fresh ground and not a pre-made patty.  For those of you not fond of lamb meat because of that lamb smell or taste, yes, it has that lamb flavor and taste to it so you won't like this burger.  They also have the traditional hamburgers but I wanted to try something different since lamb isn't a common thing in burgers.  The fries were soft but warm.  The bun was nicely toasted and didn't break apart too much.

The bar tender was really nice with fairly fast service considering he was the only one there to serve.  The burger was good and definitely made up for the bad one I had a couple days earlier.  I wouldn't mind coming back here again but I'm sure there are a lot of different restaurants I'd want to try in New York.  Prices were reasonable at around $10 for burgers.
