http://www.landthaikitchen.comOne of my favorite types of food right now is Thai. I was at a friend's house so we ordered in from a place he knows called Land Thai Kitchen:
Delivery took 30 minutes to arrive. All the dishes were separately packed in quality plastic containers and good number of utensils and condiments (like soy sauce).
Chicken Curry Puff, Shrimp Parcels, Vegetable Dumplings
I didn't get a chance to try any of these but they looked good. They probably taste a lot better fresh at the restaurant. A bit on the pricy side at 2 for $5.50.
Green Curry with Chicken:
Green curry is my favorite dish. With 3 hot chilli peppers by this menu item, it turned out to be hotter than I had anticipated. There were a lot of bamboo shoot but not a lot of chicken. Chicken was tender, fairly flat, and all white meat. The curry was a little on the oily side so it's similar to Piman Asian Bistro more so than Spoon and Fork and it was green as you can see in the picture. I've had some green curry that wasn't green. At $10, it's a reasonable price and will fill one person.
Pad Thai with shrimp:
It was slightly sweet and the nuts gave it good texture. It had perhaps 3 small shrimps and 1 green veggie (does Pad Thai usually come with green veggies?). I perfer the green curry over the pad thai for $10 but this was a filling dish.
Delivery is not the best way to go for food. They were very cheap with meat but reasonably sized with the dishes. The food was good quality so I wouldn't mind giving the actual restaurant a try and their web site shows it as a pretty modern dimly lit interior.
