http://www.bigrivergrille.comOn a beautiful day, Disney's Boardwalk is just a fantastic with a wide boardwalk, lots of small shops, and a variety of restaurants. It may not hold your attention for a whole day but we spent the morning shopping for souveniers and took a short break for a snack:
I was hoping for good seafood with a name like Big River and it has a very welcoming entrance with a lot of patio seats:
The service was slow do a lot of empty patio tables are visible yet there was a 30 minute wait so we just had food inside:
Cup of Beer Cheese Soup:
This tasted like drinking queso from Texasdelpia Cheesesteaks (aka drinking kraft velveeta). Very bad for $4.
Chicken Quesadilla:
Very thin and lacking any chicken. It had some cheese and not much else. It arrived cool and warm guacamole. It was hard to justify the price of $9.
Service was very slow with our food and our check taking almost half an hour to come. The food wasn't good and was made with very cheap materials. So where was the seafood? I didn't see much on the menu. There was nothing you can't easily put together at home. I was glad I wasn't having lunch or dinner at this restaurant. Definitely stay away from this restaurant when you're in in Disney's Boardwalk.
