We were originally planning to go to Pho New Bay but I forgot the name of the Vietnamese restaurant and just followed my GPS to the closest Vietnamese restaurant.  It took me by surprise that there was something closer to us than Pho New Bay as Google Maps had found that as the closest Vietnamese restaurant a couple weeks before.

A bright neon sign inside the restaurant in case you went to the wrong place like I did.

A very plain interior.  At least I didn't see any cockroaches.

P15 - Eye of Round Steak:

On their menu they list this beef noodle soup as their best choice.  I ordered a big bowl because it was dinner for us and I usually expect so little stuff inside as they charge so little.  As you can see there isn't much "steak" and the noodles have all settled to the bottom.  The eye of round steak didn't taste any different than the regular steak.  I would have called this beef instead of steak.  My expectations are higher for "steak" and I've never seen a Chinese restaurants call their beef and broccoli dishes as steak and broccoli.  The broth was slightly flavored.  I didn't taste anything unusually bad or good.  Adding a couple... or many... jalapeno really boosts up the flavor.

Like most other Vietnamese restaurants, there's a stronger emphasis on beef noodle bowls than Pho New Bay.  This restaurant doesn't taste any different than other Vietnamese restaurants like Pho Pasteur.  Prices are very reasonable with small beef noodle bowls at $4.60 while big bowls are $5.55.  I like how Vietnamese restaurants put labels for all their dishs like my P15 bowl.  It really makes the ordering fast and less error prone.  However, it does make the place feel cheap but it is cheap food.  I might eat here if I had a craving for Vietnamese food but I generally stay away from Vietnamese food because it never stands out to me and why waste my tummy on something so boring.
