There use to be a few Olive Garden restaurants in Toronto but back in the early 90s, they all closed and now only exist in the United States.  Some people like the Olive Garden while some avoid it like McDonald's.  I've never had Olive Garden so here is my take on it:

A bright interior with nice and large seats:

The entrance is nicely decorated with many fancy columns and paintings.

    Complimentary bread:

Soft and moist. If it was warmer and had garlic butter, it would be perfect.

    Compliamentary garden salad:

Vegetables were crisp and the house dressing is light and resemble Italian salad dressing.

    Complimentary minestrone soup:

There is so much vegetables and pasta in the soup.

Mixed Grill - Skewers of grilled marinated steak and chicken with a rosemary demi-glace, served with grilled vegetables and Tuscan potatoes:

Crispy hot tuscan potatoes with perhaps a little too much salt.  Chicken and streak were took well and taste grilled.  Both came out warm and tender.  It's not an amazing dish but it was better than what I'd expect from a mid-tier chain restaurant.  Vegetables were soft and fairly bland.

The best part of the dinner was the bread and salad.  The mixed grill turned out better than what I'd expect with the tender beef and chicken but it's no New York steak or rotisserie chicken.  I was so full of bread and salad that I couldn't finish my whole dinner.  I'd recommend coming to Olive Garden to just see how it's like and to order a lighter main course to enjoy the appetizers.

    What?!?!
I can't believe you reviewed Olive Garden. I don't know anyone who doesn't hate this place with every fiber in their core. There must be nothing to eat in Texas. Sorry about that, man.
