From hamburgers to steaks, Texas is not all about big chunks of meat.  They had an assortment of small restaurants that cater to almost every taste like Mexican, Indian, and in this case, Thai!  Tamarind is situated in a plaza that's close to Blue FIsh and by the really busy North Dallas Tollway.

A small interior that has some nice small painting to decorate the walls.  There was a set of drums at the back so there might be live music on the weekends.

We were one of the few customers in the restaurant.  There were a few people that came in to order take out.

    Chicken Pad Thai:

Not a whole lot of pad thai compared to other restaurants.  More of the bean sprouts.

    Green Curry:

Another smallish dish that I got very hot so I was sweating after eating.  I drank a lot of water so I filled up on that.  There were very few pieces of chicken.

The staff was attentive as there were very little customers.  Dishes took a long time to come so it stretched our dinner to over an hour.  The dishes are small compared to other Thai restaurants serving the same thing.  It was a good experiment but it wasn't worth coming back again.  I think one guy on our team got sick after eating here.
