Seibu Sweets Center
Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Japan
The Ikebukuro station has a lot of places selling sweets like this notable store that sells Japanese style ice cream called Sweet Monaka Cream:
It was always out of any good flavours. We went each time in the evening, one time we went at 5pm, and they were still sold out.
Another sweets store is Seibu's Sweets Center where we got some breakfast:
There are a lot of baked goods like cake:

The packaging was nice again. Let's open and find out what's inside.
Green tea cake:
Raspberry cake:
After taking a couple bites from the green tea cake you see there's raspberry jelly:
After taking a couple bites from the raspberry cake you also see there's raspberry jelly:
Both cakes looked a lot better than they tasted. Both had dry cake and old tasting jelly. The crust of the raspberry cake was flat and fairly hard. This was a disappointing experience and I don't recommend getting cake here. Each cake is around $4.

Can't judge dessert based on its looks, huh? :)
whats with the raspberry jelly...?
I usually stay away from "good-looking" cakes.
