I just got into Boston after a 7 hour, 1 connection flight and I was hungry.  I found a number of food places near the hotel like Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins but I didn't want that for dinner.  Walking a bit further I found a pretty trendy looking logo and it looks cozy inside with a simple sandwiches menu so we stepped into the restaurant, Z Square:

The cafe has a tight interior:

There's a few wobbly chairs and tables that don't align properly inside.  Music was very loud as they have a restaurant and bar downstairs.

Chacarero sliced flank steak, crisp green beans, tomato, jack cheese, avocado & chimichurri on potato roll:

A huge sandwich that spills out when you take a bite.  The steak was a bit stringy and they didn't put too many pieces of meat so you can't even see it from this picture.  Avocado was about half and was soft.  Beans were cold and crunchy.  Bread was relatively fresh - probably made in the morning.  For $10, it's a bit on the higher side for the quality of the sandwich.

It's good for a quick fancy sandwich but a little pricy.  The bar and restaurant downstairs looked nice with a young well dressed crowd.  The washroom is quite a distance from the cafe as it's at the back of the restaurant on the lower level.
