It's the original Boston pub that inspired the hit show "Cheers"!  This is a very popular tourist location with a couple souvenier shops inside and, of course, a bar.  Inside it doesn't look at all like the TV set but it's littered with posters and life-sized cutouts of the characters from the "Cheers" TV show.  We were around during the lunch period and the menu didn't look too pricey so we gave Cheers a try.

    One of the multiple bars:

They occupy multiple buildings that are all connected by narrow winding hallways with some stairways added for some variety.  I'm not sure if this place is accessible by wheelchair.

Fenway Special - two hot dogs:

A slice of toasted bread wrap each standard grocery size hot dog.  It may have been saved if it was at least grilled on an open fire.  At least it's all beef.  Fries were cool.  The pickle was fresh but had very little dill taste.  For $9, it's a steep price for this stuff.

    Famous Hamburger:

This burger is a lot better than the hot dog with fresh ground meat.  I'm really glad it wasn't a pre-made patty.  I had mine medium but I could see a bit of rare inside.  It looks charred but there's no carbon/burnt taste to it.  Fries and pickle are the same as above.  For the same $10, it's a better price than hot dogs.

The staff are relatively friendly but very rushed.  The food quality is not bad.  The price is higher than usual but only by about 15% is very good considering this is a highly visited tourist location.  They may not know your name, their restaurant and bar is super crowded, and you really don't know which section of the restaurant you'll be seats but it's still worth a visit and a sit down.
