Bordering Mexico, Texas is known for plentiful tex mex restaurants.  When we're tired of Asian foods, steaks, fast food and seafood, we find ourselves at the doorsteps of a mexican restaurant.  One of them in our neighbourhood is Luna De Noche:

A nicely decorated interior for a Tex Mex restaurant:

    Beef Fajita Platters:

Beef was thin and simply grilled.  It came out warm and not sizzling.  There wasn't much flavour to any of the food.  The potato didn't help either with their pasty insides.  I had chosen the corn type tortilla, which was a mistake.  It tasted like peameal and, to me, more like puke.  For $13 it's a pretty alright dish.

    Chicken Quesadillas:

Very flavorless chicken quesadillas but having guacamole makes up for it.  Guacamole wasn't made to order and was very uniformly mashed.  Price was low at $8.

Service was good with attentive waiters and some dishes prepared right in front of you.  A lot of flavourless food but the amount of starch and fatty things like sour cream fill you quickly.  Unless you're really out of options for food, I wouldn't bother with Tex Mex.  If you're on a budget, Tex Mex is a cheap way to fill up.
