Razzoo's Cajun Cafe

http://www.razzoos.comWith a number of restaurants opened in the Dallas, Texas area, Razzoo's is a bar type restaurant serving cajun dishes such as fried gator tail and crawfish.
A casual interior with a couple TVs hanging in the corners to catch the game:
Hush Puppies:
Hard exterior hides the soft interior. It's like fried corn bread.
Fried Gator Tail:
You can barely taste the gator tail under all that fried batter. Fries were hot and soft with a sprinkle of cajun powder. Just the way I like them. It's like popcorn chicken at $6.59 USD.
Grilled Gator Tail:
Alligator tail is chewy and resembles snake. If you haven't had snake then it's a bit like a chewy eel. The sauce is spicy and resembles gumbo. It goes really well with dirty rice (chicken bits and rice). Dish was $12.29USD.
Seafood Combo Platter with crawfish, shrimps, and fish grilled:
The crawfish were not fresh and flavorless but were great in the Grilled Gator Tail sauce with rice. Shrimps were not to crispy but not too bad. Fish was flavorless and forgetable. Dish was $13.79 USD.
Food was alright but I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're looking for non-fried foods. The waitress was really nice by substituting the basket of pups for fried jalapinos when my friend was disappointed by the pups. She also pre-split a dish for another of my friends who wanted to share. Overall service is great, food is alright if it's fried, and you have sports on the TV. Go for drinks but don't consider this place for a date.
