Haagen Dazs
If you're in Europe, particularly in London, you will find a number of Haagen Dazs ice cream stores in popular areas. On my family trip to Europe last year, many of our lunches were what you see below:
A nice bowl of ice cream for our lunch is many children's dream so that's why we made it our vacation! Although it looks small, each glass of ice cream was around $3.50 pounds (about $7 CDN). The ice cream was very creamy, smooth, and rich with flavour. Many of the flavours can't be found in the grocery store.
Here in America,
you won't[it's harder to] find Haagen Dazs ice cream stores but you will find many Braum's, Ben & Jerry's, Marble Slab, and Cold Stone stores. But it's not the same so let's go take a trip to the grocery store to find some Haagen Dazs. Here is a box of 15 Haagen Dazs Vanilla & Almond ice cream bars:
At $12 USD, it works out to less than $1 USD per bar which is a lot more value than buying one individually.
Delicious:
It might not taste as good as those from Europe but it does feature very rich vanilla ice cream inside with a very thick coating of chocolate. Unlike most cheap grocery store branded vanilla chocolate ice cream bar, you don't get the wood taste from the popsicle stick.
With a relatively high price, not everyone will find Haagen Dazs the ice cream for them. I personally prefer a thinner chocolate layer on my vanilla chocolate ice cream bar and many of Braum's ice cream flavours. If you're in Europe and you run into a Haagen Dazs ice cream store, I recommend a visit. They have many seasonal flavours so it's an always changing menu.
