I was in Napa, California this past weekend to savor their fine wines.  As always, it's highly recommended not to have an empty stomach if you intend to consume alcohol so we dropped by downtown Napa to grab a quick bite before heading up North for some wine tasting.  Napa downtown is lined with a number of fast food restaurants like KFC, McDonald's, and Chilli's.  I didn't feel like mixing a lunch of fried foods with fine wine so we searched around for something different and came across a little sandwich and wrap restaurant called Christopher's Fine Foods:

A blend of retail and cafe:

Turkey Sandwich with raspberry red wine:

A freshly toasted bread sandwiches a couple slices of fresh turkey, tomatoes, and lettuce.  What sets this sandwich apart from the rest is the added raspberry red wine giving it a nice sweet taste that contrasts the slight bitterness in the romaine lettuce.

Black Forest with Monterey Jack Wrap:

Once again you have fresh tomatoes and lettuce but nothing sets this wrap apart from other places.  The cheese is a lot better than what you get from Subway.

Every sandwich and wrap is priced at $6.50 so it's priced on the borderline to becoming expensive.  I really enjoyed the sandwich but the wrap did not impress me.  It wasn't very crowded so it's a good place to come grab a bite before heading up North to the wineries for wine tasting.  I would definitely come back here the next time I'm in Napa for lunch.
