After having Chinese, Japanese, Korean, sandwiches, steaks, and BBQ so often in Dallas, we often go back to the Italian for some simple pasta.  A friend of ours recommended a fairly new restaurant (or newly renovated as there was a lot of construction in the area), Isabella's.

    A beautiful stone exterior:

A classy interior with a fairly bare wall:

     Complimentary bread with olive oil:

    Crab cake:

    Inside the crab cake:

Not a lot of real crab and a lot of filling.

Gamberi con Spinaci - Sautéed Shrimp wrapped in Italian Smoked Cured Bacon
served with Spinach and a Lemoncello Dressing:

Bacon wrapped shrimp is the best dish of the entire dinner.

    Spaghettini alla Pomodoro:

Carnaroli Rice with Asparagus & Grilled Shrimp:

Fileto di Trota - Herbed Trout served with Salmoriglio Sauce and Roasted Potatoes:

I had the spaghetti and was not impressed with the sauce.  It was too dry and the pasta tasted like anything you can buy from the grocery and cook yourself.  Dinner entree dishes were fairly pricy at around $15.  It has a very fancy interior and perhaps worth a visit.  We never went back after our initial visit - perhaps that speaks for itself.
