Wendy's is one of my favorite fast food hamburger restaurants.  It offers a wide selection of burgers, salads, and other items like baked potato and chilli.  Their commercials always mention non-frozen beef patties but I don't really taste that difference.  I'm just glad it's not pink inside.  In Canada, if you see a Tim Horton's there's usually a Wendy's nearby.

    Bright interior:

Don't let the people in the picture discourage you from eating fast food.  It's all about moderation or it's a DNA thing so it's not your fault.  The interior is fairly cheap but built to stand the many people coming in and out.  A rugged floor makes it harder for them to clean but feel more comfortable than McDonald's.  I found that most tables were left dirty as they don't have enough staff to clean up.

    Bacon & Cheese Junior Burger:

Part of their 99 cents value menu.  The hamburger is their bread and butter.  I find their beef light, not oily, and tasty.  They usually come out pale so they don't always look pretty but you know it's ground beef unlike McDonald's.  Bacon wasn't very crispy as it was probably prepared earlier and sits on a plate.

    Fries:

Thicker than McDonald's and vary from large squishy soft to small crispy edge fries.  I prefer the soft fries.  If you prefer crispy fries then this might not be for you.  These fries are usually hot or at least warm.  They never feel like they've been cooked in old oil.

    Nuggets:

Not quite white meat like McDonald's yet but the cutlet meat is still better than ones from the grocery store.  These occasionally taste old as they don't sell nuggets as common as their fries.

    Spicy Buffalo Chicken Burger:

Hidden under the bun are jalopenos and the chicken is infused with Buffalo sauce.  It's a tingly hot.  I don't think any of Wendy's so-called "hot" menu items are hot.  They're all designed for the mass market.  Once again meat is cutlet like the one found in the nuggets.  Lettuce was fresh and crispy.  I like the large piece over the shredded ones from Harvey's.

    Chilli:

Wendy's Chilli is usually one of my favorite menu item but this is starting to look really depressing.  I wasn't planning to drink my chilli like soup.

After churning it up my chilli:

After adding some crackers and churning up my chilli it looks a whole lot better.  I like how they use the same beef in their hamburgers as in their chilli.

I could eat 2 - 3 of their hamburgers and I love soft fries.  Unlike McDonald's and Harvey's, I never come out of Wendy's heavy from fried oil unless I have too many nuggets. GIven a choice from any of the fast food hamburger restaurants, I prefer the food from Wendy's but I don't really like the interior of their restaurants and prefer the look of Harvey's.  Wendy's has to improve their service level as their tables are left really messy during lunch times and line ups are long and slow.
