They say that if you're sick or hung over, Pho should be on the top of your list of foods to have.  We were feeling a bit hung over from flying early Monday mornings so we dropped by a Vietnamese restaurant:

    A bright simple interior:

    Spring rolls:

You can see a couple shrimps in the roll but like most other Vietnamese restaurants, they slice the shrimp in half so it looks like you're getting more than you really are.  The wrapping is fresh and moist.  Lettuce is crispy.

    Meat balls:

I'm not sure why it's red.  I'm also not sure what kind of meat is inside.  This is like hot dog, anything could be inside.

    Pho:

Lots of soup and not a lot of noodles or meat.  The broth tends to taste more like water than similar Vietnamese places in Toronto.

There isn't a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in Plano and this place does look clean.  With our team getting sick all the time from consuming bad food, a safe clean place meets the mark for a place to try out.  There are a lot better alternatives out there so I suggest keep looking.  A much better place to consider in Toronto is Pho Hung.

wow what brings you to plano, tx? haha that's where i've lived for like over 10 yrs :] it was fun reading your reviews of familiar places..
for asian food, pei wei's known for being americanized...don't go there if you want something authentic. there's this new place called Little Sichuan on legacy drive (it's by this asia world supermarket) that's pretty good (but most of their dishes are spicy). there's also First Chinese BBQ on Coit that i like. or you can try Noodles Ave. on park, which has thai stuff as well as other dishes, and then go next door to have Fat Straws bubble tea (my fave boba place)! all of these places aren't very pricey.

just some suggestions =P feel free to ask me abt food places around here, i might be able to help!

the meatballs are red due to the food coloring that's added. its just for a little bit of color, not really sure whats the appeal of reddish, orangey meat but whatever. and whats inside is just a lot of pork and maybe some other small ingredients. my mom used to make them all the time. and my mom also makes the best pho hands down too. so if u ever want good pho, just let me know. : P

Do you live in Texas or something now? Haha... cuz all your stuff is in Texas. Ha. What are you doing over there? Anyway... Remember Dolce in Toroonto? The gelato place. OMG they hired me and tried to rip me off by 'wanting' to pay me $7.75... and saying that was the minimum wage... then the manager gave me a TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT ATTITUDE ... I was like wtf? hahaha... anyway its good to know that there are people who still update their xanga page... and hasn't totally moved on to facebook. =P
