http://www.peiwei.comIf you're interested in a taste of asian food from a North American person's interpretation then Pei Wei may be a good place to start.

A dimly lit interior with a nicely decorated open kitchen. It is not a full service restaurant so you have to find your own seat and utensils but because waits for dishes are not short, staff will bring the dishes to your table:

Asian Coconut Curry:

Tastes like there was a lot of corn starch added. This is a thick and gooey sauce. The beans were either old and dried up or overcooked and dried up. Chicken was almost too overcooked and larger pieces were dry on the inside.
Ginger Broccoli:

A salty dish with lots of oil to make it reflect an amazing amount of light.
A pile of fortune cookies:

Have one or a couple while waiting for your dish or complete your meal with the North American signature Chinese dessert!
Pei Wei serves some of the saltiest dishes I've had. I've been to Pei Wei twice and almost everyone I've went with have said their dish was too salty. The dish I found not salty was the coconut curry. The selection of dishes is not impressive and the quality leaves a lot to be desired. Apart from the unlimited fortune cookies, I didn't find any dishes worth recommending.

bloorozez: Pei Wei is owned by PF Chiang's so there is a family resemblance.
