After eating healthy and light salads for lunch over a couple days, it's time for some good 'ol oily and heavy American hamburgers.  A place known for its burgers is Snuffer's:

    Inside:

    Classic Burger:

You can choose to have your burger cooked the way you want.  I had well done but I could see the slight pink in it.  A toasted bread compliments the great ground beef burger.

    Snuffer's Legendary Cheddar Fries:

If you order this, you have to get all the toppings (Bacon, Chives & Jalapeños).  It's really really oily but really good.  It might be better than poutine.

The burgers are great but watch out for the pinkish inside.  The food presentation isn't great as the fries come out in alumnium party trays.  I'm glad this burger is not one of those pre-made patty burgers but everything is just trenched in oil and it's hard to have more than one burger in a week.  I recommend a visit as it does have pretty good burgers.

OMG. I'm always a little weary of fries where the prospect of eating with just your hands is not feasible. Let alone from an aluminum tray.

YUM! I live around the corner and this is my hands down favorite burger place. It's the beef! The cheese fries are pretty good too, but I can't rationalize both without having some Lipitor on hand. J/K. Don't forget the ranch. :)

As a frequent customer of Snuffer's, I have to take up for them by saying that the whole concept of their restaurant is casual, not fussy or fancy, family eating.  The atmosphere isn't meant to be upscale.  The cheese fries are absolutely to die for and the burgers as well.  Snuffer's has been a staple of the DFW area foras long as I remember....and Fuddrucker's doesn't hold a candle to it.

Might I suggest trying their marinated chicken sandwich.  It is unlike anything I have ever tried, and I am not a chicken sandwich lover (except for chick-fila of course!).

Their happy hour prices can't be beat!!
