Serving a mix of Thai and Indian with a Chinese twist, Bombay Chopsticks ends up tasting like many of the other Chinese-owned establishments in Toronto.

A simple exterior with no visible ethnic signs:

A very small and warmly coloured interior:

    Green Curry Chicken:

It doesn't look very green in the picture and it didn't look very green in person.  You can compare the sauce's colour to that green pepper by the spoon.   The curry is quite waterly and not very flavorful.

    Thai Beef w/ Cashewnut:

I love cashews.  Too bad the dish was way too salty and hard eat all of it.

The restaurant was very quiet with only two other parties.  There was only one server and food came out fairly slowly considering it wasn't too busy.  Seeing that each dish was so inconsistent with taste, it's hard to recommend anything unless you've tried it.  The food isn't great and it's far so I easily recommend other places like Spoon & Fork for Thai or Bombay Palace for Indian instead.

the curry looked so waterly to me .i knew it even before you said anything. i usually like my curry yummy and not running off my plate. Do you ever get tired of eating out? i know i feel that way after eating out for weeks.

I don't like watery Curry.. and "Thai and Indian with a Chinese twist" doesn't sound appealing to me.. lol

RYC: It looked good, but the actual flavors and textures were not there... and 2 1/2 isn't terrible, just not great.
