Zorba's Greek Cafe
1501 Preston Rd.
Plano, Texas 75093
972 250-0002I've had Chinese, French, American, Korean, Japanese, and Italian foods. It's time to try out a Greek restaurant:

A nicely decorated exterior with a few tables outside:

When I walked in I was overwhelmed with the smell of meat.

I ordered Zorba's platter giving a good selection of beef gyro, sausage, and a choice of lamb or chicken kabob:

The pita bread is very soft and good. None of the meat was dry. I enjoyed the sausage the most. The potato below all that meat was a potato boiled in soup and flavourless. The pasta at the top was dry and didn't taste good.
I think Greek is usually too much or too little meat. This time it's too much and I didn't feel good after. It's close to the place I'm staying so I might end up coming here again. I also think Greek is an acquired taste. I'm not fond of the way everything is prepared where most meats taste the same and veggies are usually flavourless.
