• The Sugar dessert & refreshment

  Surrounded by a lot of popular Asian restaurants such as Congee Wong and Asian Legend, The Sugar is a becoming a popular location in its own right.  The Sugar serves various fried appetizers, desserts, as well as Asian herbal soups. 
  

  

  A mango ice cream and fruits:

  

  The mango ice cream was very rich in taste with an almost gelato taste.  I love the jelly that really contrasts with the muted watermelon and much bitter strawberries.  All this floats on a mango syrup that's light, not sweet, and subtle.

  It's similar to a dessert restaurant in First Markham Place but offers a slightly different menu.  I didn't get a chance to try their fried items but from seeing served to other customers they looked deep fried for too long or in very old frying oil so I suggest staying away from them.
