Korean Garden
2220 Coit Rd
Plano, TX 75075
(972) 599-1189Situated in the food court of a small Chinese mall, Korean Garden is a reasonably priced place serving various Korean stone bowl and stone plate items. Unfortunately, you won't find the famous pork bone soup here but there's a dozen other soups available as well.
The old styled take out menu above the ordering counter:

Stone rice bowl with beef and mixed vegetables:

This dish comes at you sizzling hot so don't touch the stone bowl. If you let the rice cook on the bowl it sticks together and becomes a tasty crispy waffer. There is an egg on top which is difficult to see.
Spicy Pork:

The pork was very spicy and very fatty. This meat was on par with bacon for meat to fat ratio. It was too spicy for me so I have difficulty eating this dish.
All menu items include various Korean side dishes like kim chi and bean spouts. I've noticed that the side items can change from one day to another day. Most menu items are priced at $8 USD. You eat at a food court so this would not be a good place to bring a date. If you're not going to order a stone bowl or a stone plate, I would recommend going to other Korean restaurants as this place seems to specialize in them.
