  • Popeyes

    I've been away from my blog for a longer time than usual to recover from being food poisoned.  I got sick starting on Thursday and only started feeling better last Tuesday.  I still have to watch what I eat.

    I got sick a bit after eating a Spicy Chicken Sandwich from Popeyes in the Dallas Fortworth (DFW) Airport:

    Friends I work with know I've have this chicken sandwich almost every Thursday that I'm at the airport.  Funny thing is that my friends also had Popeyes last Thursday, but they didn't get the sandwich, and they were fine.

    I think it was the lettuce or the tomato.  After hearing about the Taco Bell incident, first they thought it was the onions then they think it was the cheese or lettuce, and virus at the Olive Garden.  It was probably the lettuce.

    Although I only got sick once out of eating at Popeyes more than ten times, I think I'll be staying away from Popeyes for a long time.

    popeyes makes me ill. theres one downtown where i work and i sometimes eat there on tuesdays... so good going down but you feel like crap all day. biscuits are great there tho, i could eat them all day

    awWw... I never tried their sandwich before. I'm sorry that you got sick from Popeyes. :( But yeah...the biscuits and fries are very good I say. :)
