  To mark a special day, I went out with friends to a restaurant close to Square One shopping centre.

  Bruschetta:

  

  We were very hungry so this disappeared quickly

  Veal Parmesan:

  

  I added a lot of crushed hot peppers to this dish.  I think it gives that extra boost otherwise it's just a lot of tomato taste.  Veal was tender but the dish was overall a bit on the cool side.  Vegetables were very plain and didn't have much flavour to them.

  Seafood chicken with wild rice:

  

  Overall it was alright for dinner.  Nothing special in terms of quality but nothing very bad about it.  Price is reasonable.  It's close to a movie theatre and Playdium, making it a very convenient location.  I'd only go if I've already tried the places around it and need a change.
