  • Pho Pasteur

    8251 Beltline Rd. #160
    Irving, TX 75063

It's a small restaurant close to our office.  It's very casual and, looking at their open hours, geared to the office crowd.

    Vietnamese Appetizer rolls:

Lots of noodles, a bit of lettuce, and very little shrimp.

Grilled pork with fried egg roll on crushed rice:

A bit of meat, enough egg roll, and lots of noodles.  Pork is relatively thin and dry but sweet marinate on the pork is good.  For $6USD it's an alright price.

Grilled chicken with fried egg roll on noodles:

Not a good as pork and at the same price.  A bit of meat, enough egg roll, and lots of noodles.  The chicken is not marinated as much and turned out to be much drier than pork.  For $6USD it's an alright price.

    Black pepper beef on rice:

This dish one of my favorites for dinner or when I'm really hungry.  It's good and hot.  At $8USD it's a bit on the pricier side.

Overall, considering it's close, we would come here again.  It's a decent place and the owner is very nice.  The food is decent but a bit on the pricier side for Pho.  This place would not compete well in Toronto.
