Swiss Chalet
I travel for work during the week but I come home every weekend to enjoy a home cooked meal or some Toronto flavour. This weekend we went to a Canadian chain restaurant called Swiss Chalet.
Our dishes came very soon after we ordered them.
We had a double chicken dinner:
The bun was soft and chewy. Too bad it wasn't a bit warmer but it was good. The chicken was warm, tender with a bit of dryness, skin was a bit on the salty side, and vegetables were bland.
And a chicken pot pie:
The crust was pretty good but not hot. The inside was very starch. However, there is a good amount of chicken inside.
Overall I would come to Swiss Chalet again. The one we went to is on Highway 7 West of McCowan. There is another Swiss Chalet to the East of McCowan also on Highway 7 but we find the chicken to be consistently dry at that establishment. For $30 it's a quick and sort of healthy dinner.

i cant believe you wrote a review for it!
You ate a lot of food btw, thats 2 meals!
and if you really like the bun, you can ask for 2, they dont charge u extra. I usually get 2 to level off the saltiness in the chicken.
im pretty sure everyone already knows what swiss chalet is though. kind of stupid to see a review about it
