Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy Stores
In those few situations we don't fill ourselves with the main course, we will go grab some dessert. We decided on ice cream so we went to a local ice cream store called Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy Stores. The interesting thing about this ice cream store is that they raise and milk their own cows for their dairy products, including the ice cream.
The outside is very dull and very old looking. It's not a place I would have considered going to.
Inside is just as old fashioned looking:
They don't have a large selection of ice cream flavour. The number of yogurt flavours was even smaller. I was a bit full so I ordered a Black Maple Walnut ice cream cone:
I was impressed that all their cones are waffle cones. The ice cream was very fresh, creamy, and not sugary. I really liked the ice cream and would definitely recommend it. The waffle cone was very thin and very crisp. It did not taste like those that you get from Baskin Robbins or the grocery store.
Overall I would recommend coming this Braum's for ice cream. It's not a pretty looking place and the selection is limited but the quality of the ice cream and waffle cone definitely make it worth coming.
