  • Bahama Breeze

We're out eating for every lunch and dinner and we try different places.  Today's tropic flavour is Bahama Breeze:

A very nicely themed exterior.  They don't normally have palm trees in Texas but they have some here.

All the Bahama Breeze restaurants have the same styled interior:

The booth seats reminded me of Red Lobsters.  Very tropical design.  Not somewhere I'd take a first date since it's a bit tacky but good for future occasions.

I ordered a Lobsert and Shrimp pasta:

At most places you order a seafood pasta, there is a lot of pasta and not a lot of seafood.  When they said "Sweet Caribbean lobster and shrimp in every bite" in the menu, I couldn't disagree when I had it.  There was a surprising amount of lobster in the dish.  The taste can get boring since it's white creme sauce so I offered my friends a sample and they liked it too.

We went a second time and I had a Crispy Chicken Club Salad:

Very standard fried chicken but they were quite fresh and the corn was very crisp.  Glad they got the dressing on the side request right.  I've had too much ranch sauce lately.

Overall the meal was good.  Prices are very reasonable for what you get and the dishes are fresh.  There isn't much special about the taste of the food or the presentation but the dish size is good.  I would definitely come here for dinner again.
