  • Jamba Juice

Healthy foods is the craze these days.  We were going to have some heavy food for dinner so we decided to have something light and there's not a lot lighter than having juice for lunch.  Meet our lunch destination, the latest craze, Jamba Juice:

The inside is a simplistic design with a listing of all the juices to the left and the extra boosters you can add to your juice on the right.  I think Juice Booster uses the same concept.  I don't recall seeing many seats inside or any seats at all so assume you're going to get this juice to go.

I ordered the super large Orange A-Peel and an Energy booster.  I was really tired that day and felt like I needed a whole lot of vitamin C.

Jamba Juice has a pamphlet listing all the calories, fibre, etc.  I don't know how to read that nutrition guide but my friend tells me, nutrition-wise, this stuff is better than any restaurant we can get food at.

I would say the large one lasted me 10 minutes.  I felt so cold after drinking the whole thing.  After 3 hours I wa hungry again.  For $6 USD it keeps you full for 3 hours.  You can get full for longer at Wendy's or Mc Donald's but they won't be as healthy.  I can't say this will replace your lunches but it is a good afternoon snack or to prepare for an unhealthy meal like Korean BBQ.
