Uncle Julio's Fine Mexican Food
Texas is one of the most Southern states in the USA and shares a couple foods similar to Mexico. I love guacamole and salsa so we went to Uncle Julio's Fine Mexican Food.
Inside is a fairly busy environment with fairly simplistic chairs:
To compliment our dinner we ordered a dish of guacamole:
It was really good guacamole with the complimentary chips.
I ordered two soft shell steak tacos for my main meal:
I initially thought it would be a light meal but, as my friends had said, I was wrong and was quite filled. The first taco tasted really good. It was probably cause I was hungry. As I finished the first taco and began the second taco, I started to get sick of marinade they used on the steak. It tasted a bit salty and overly seasoned. I had a hard time finishing the second one. Rice was skipped as I was too full but I did finish the lettuce with the taco.
I loved the guacamole and the first taco was really good. You need to try it out and see if you like the marinade they use for the steak. It was really filling for just two tacos. Overall I would say it's a recommend to visit.
