In-Room Dining at Hilton in Columbus
There's a lot of times I'm really busy with work so we get take out and bring it back to the hotel to eat. And there are times when I'm so busy I never leave the hotel and this is one of those times.
This was one of those rare times so I had my dinner brought to my room after calling room service.
I ordered their sirlon steak burger with garlic house fries. It was 1:30pm when it arrived at my room and I was really hungry at that time.
The burger didn't feel like a pre-packaged patty like Lick's so it was really good. I couldn't tell whether it was just processed beef or sirlon steak but i was nice and tender meat. They had it done medium rare so it was tender and not tough at all. I would say the burger was a good portion since it quickly filled me up.
The garlic fries were a bit on the salty side so I recommend dipping them in ketchup. I do like the garlic flavouring on the fries. The fries were a tad on the dry side but inside was still hot and moist.
It was a really good lunch. Would I do it again? At $14 and a $4 tip, it isn't something I'd do frequently. But it was a good burger.
